Support for Ukrainian innovations: 38 startups will receive €1,250,000 in funding from the Seeds of Bravery consortium - Seeds Of Bravery

38 Ukrainian startups will receive financial support of €1.250,000. This funding will support innovation and growth through four key programmes: Innovative Entrepreneurship, Deep Tech Incubators, Rebuild Ukraine, and Deep Tech Scale-up and Acceleration.

The funding will help entrepreneurs accelerate the launch of their projects, attract the necessary resources, and expand their presence in new markets. The investment will also help create new jobs and increase the competitiveness of the Ukrainian startup ecosystem.

Under the Innovative Entrepreneurship programme, 16 startups receive grants of up to €25,000 to support business continuity and promote women-led companies.

  1. AidSupply is a one-stop shop for the global humanitarian aid process.
  2. Anima – The Anima project is a groundbreaking initiative leveraging advanced eye-tracking technology to deliver precise, web-based assessments of mental health states.
  3. Banani AI – AI design platform for product teams.
  4. D2.GreenHouse – Organization of production of a multifunctional electronic device designed for automatic greenhouse management with minimal human participation.
  5. EDMAPS – LMS platform that makes the learning process for children as interesting and exciting as a computer game.
  6. InTempo – For anyone looking to reduce stress, InTempo is an app and tactile phone case that uses the rhythm and tempo of music to calm you down..
  7. LLC “Oxi Trade” – specializes in the development and production of high-quality pellet burners for household and industrial use, which provide efficient heating.
  8. Medvoice – Comprehensive online education platform that empowers healthcare professionals to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  9. Natulang – Single App for Achieving Foreign Language Fluency.
  10. Promptsideas – AI platform where inspiration meets innovation.
  11. R.Flo – developing affordable and reliable batteries for energy users, so they can produce or consume cheap and reliable energy 24/7. 
  12. Trementum Research – condensing their experience in researching coordinated inauthentic behavior on social media in a product for threat detection.
  13. VITA325 by GROUP325 – Developing robust healthcare platform integrating patient management, prosthetic tracking, and telerehabilitation, featuring ML-powered comp vision gait analysis and sensor data integration.
  14. Wemates P2P Risk-Sharing Network – Peer-to-Peer insurance platform.
  15. Pravozno – is an online educational platform, offering comprehensive courses and extensive materials dedicated to helping students prepare for Ukraine’s mandatory state exams.
  16. «PHOTOPOLYMER MOLDS KVOTA. PRINTED FORMING» – A project in which mold elements are printed on a 3D printer with photopolymer resin.

8 winners of the Deep Tech Incubators programme won grants of up to €25,000 for early-stage startups involved in pre-MVP activities. 

  1. Anima – is a groundbreaking initiative leveraging advanced eye-tracking technology to deliver precise, web-based assessments of mental health states.
  2. Mark – builds AI-powered healthcare solutions that revolutionize preventive care, minimize misdiagnoses, and improve long-term health outcomes.
  3. MindAction – Revolutionizing access to mental health and education, our app merges innovative gaming with AI-driven personalization, empowering users through immersive learning and therapeutic experiences.
  4. My Pectus – is an innovative solution for breast screening with the objective to detect breast cancer risks at early stages, using artificial intelligence and thermography.
  5. OPORA – Open-science Psychological Ongoing Resilience Assistant – is a digital platform for personalised mental health care that combines patient data monitoring, ethical research and stigma reduction initiatives for PTSD, anxiety and depression.
  6. Promin Aerospace – builds self-burning rockets to enable the most rapid dedicated access to space, atmosphere, and microgravity.
  7. Progalit – Automation of outpatient treatment and prevention of kidney stone disease – Global, AI driven Automation Platform of Outpatient Treatment and Prevention of Kidney Stones Disease: Programmatic Litholysis – “Progalit” Software as Medical Device, class III.
  8. TitroPal: Smart Multifunctional Titrators – a smart multifunctional titrator that automates synthetic and analytical procedures, addition of liquid reagents, enhancing efficiency for chemists.

2 Ukrainian innovators will receive grants of up to 25,000 euros under the Rebuild Ukraine programme for innovative companies that will quickly rebuild post-war Ukraine. 

  1. Digital second opinion of cancer diagnostic – creating a digital highway in diagnostic pathology to promote second opinion, precision medicine, European collaboration and integration in a time of paucity of workforce.
  2. Pipes.One – unique technology platform for Infrastructure pipelines construction, faster, sustainable, lower-cost, higher quality, on-wheels, on-site.

As part of the DeepTech Scale-Up & Acceleration programme, 12 startups will receive grants of up to €50,000 for companies seeking to scale prototypes and expand their market reach.

  1. Aspichi VR Psy-Therapist Assistant – Photo-Realistic VR Assistant as the prodigy psychological solution
  2. Better Time Stories – An innovative platform blending storytelling with technology to enhance learning and cultural connection for children in Europe.
  3. Computer-Aided Technology for Early Breast Cancer Detection – AI-driven solution for accurate breast cancer diagnosis enhances early detection, reduces missed diagnoses and false positives, aiming to improve patient outcomes and lower healthcare costs.
  4. Sprout Dynamics – affordable and diverse food for the human microbiome –  is a disruptive innovation in mass production of the cheapest dietary fibre & alternative protein & antioxidants in the form of sprouted seeds, perfect for microbiome nutrition.
  5. EDMAPS – LMS platform that makes the learning process for children as interesting and exciting as a computer game.
  6. Hideez – is a cybersecurity startup providing workforce with passwordless solutions for logical and physical access.
  7. inbox.wine – AI-driven personalised wine sales.
  8. MARV 2EX – dust monitor for wet explosive gas monitoring in ATEX applications, with no alternative on the market.
  9. RELEAF – ecommerce shop of sustainable packaging – Sustainable eco packaging made from recycled green waste.
  10. STEPS: Smart Thermal Energy Packed Storage – Creation of the STEPS system for thermal energy independence of European countries and Ukraine.
  11. SplineCloud – is an open knowledge management platform for engineers and scientists that helps them be more creative and productive by organising, sharing and reusing gained knowledge.
  12. Poly Diagnostics – Developing an in vitro diagnostic kit for the simultaneous detection of 26 bacterial and viral respiratory pathogens. 


In addition, some of the winning startups have already successfully raised funding under other Seeds of Bravery support programmes. For example, Better Time Stories received a total of €60,000 through the Innovative Entrepreneurship and Deep Tech Scale-up and Acceleration programmes, and ClinCaseQuest raised €50,000 through participation in the Deep Tech Incubators and the Deep Tech Scale-up and Acceleration programme. FluxHR also raised €50,000 through the Innovative Entrepreneurship and Deep Tech Incubators programmes.

These examples not only highlight the desire of Ukrainian innovators to develop, learn and scale, but also confirm the effectiveness of Seeds of Bravery programmes that actually work and produce concrete results.

Supporting innovative projects is an investment in the future that brings results in the form of economic growth, job creation, and improved quality of life. That is why Seeds of Bravery continues to support the Ukrainian ecosystem.
