Among the event’s highlights was the exhibition of EIC-funded initiatives, including the Seeds of Bravery project, a two-year endeavor designed to support the Ukrainian tech ecosystem. The project’s team had the opportunity to pitch to a diverse audience, including stakeholders from the European innovation network, journalists, and startups. The presentation focused on the project’s implementation stages and the extensive support available to Ukrainian tech SMEs, startups, and scaleups, aiming to offer a blend of financial and non-financial assistance.

The Seeds of Bravery stand attracted notable visitors on its second day, including:

  • Iliana Ivanova, Commissioner for Innovation, Research, Culture, Education, and Youth;
  • Michiel Scheffer, President of the EIC Board;
  • Jean-David Malo, Director of the European Innovation Council and SMEs Executive Agency.

Their presence highlighted the EU’s efforts to integrate Ukrainian technological innovations into its ecosystem.

The Seeds of Bravery project team extends its gratitude to the European Union and the European Innovation Council for the unwavering support of Ukraine. A special acknowledgement goes to Natalia Nowinska for her guidance as a Project Adviser.

As the project progresses, the consortium remains dedicated to providing financial and non-financial opportunities to strengthen cooperation between European and Ukrainian companies in shaping a sustainable future.
