About €150,000 for Ukraine’s startup ecosystem: we announce the 2nd cohort of winners of the Business and Innovation Services program from the Seeds of Bravery project - Seeds Of Bravery

2 cohorts of winners: 15 start-ups have received financial support of up to €10,000 as part of the Seeds of Bravery programme!

15 participants in the Seeds of Bravery Business and Innovation Services programme have received funding totalling up to €150,000 to help them develop their potential in the innovation market.

A brief overview of the winners:

  1. LitCom – the most advanced service of book reviews/recommendations, literary podcasts/audio summaries/audio reviews of books, alongside with instant reply to the request “what to read”.
  2. SproutDynamics — Exposure of dynamics sprouting as a disruptive food biotech innovation in mass production of sprouted seeds.
  3. Lookerz —Providing 360-degree personalisation for fashion eCommerce, with real time outfits, tags and similar items powered by ML.
  4. Nasnaga — Closed marketplace of personal health coaches for longer and better life.
  5. EASY PEASY INSURTECH — neo-insurance platform that allows drivers to optimize their car insurance on a pay-per-mile basis and driving style report..
  6. Metal-hydride systems as potential hydrogen storage devices — aim to develop novel and reliable hydrogen storage devices, based on technology that enables 2x hydrogen volume in the same-sized storage device..
  7. WheelKeep — IoT-powered bicycle security & insurance system as a service.
  8. Deep 3D Studio — 3D character development and asset creation studio with own multi-camera scanning system and motion capture setup with clients in gaming, VFX and AI/ML industries from all over the world..
  9. CheckEye — AI-powered platform revolutionizing global preventive healthcare by enabling mass screenings for 40+ chronic diseases, making early detection affordable worldwide.
  10. Di-agnostics — Innovative AI solution for predictive maintenance that minimizes equipment downtime and reduces costs through advanced sound analysis.
  11. S.Labeco-friendly packaging made from agricultural waste and mushroom mycelium.
  12. Diabex — inks people with diabetes to mindfulness practices and courses, improving well-being and blood sugar control.
  13. LightMirror — develops reflective panels that bring sunlight into healthcare buildings, reducing the need for artificial lighting and heating.
  14. IPTel — a cloud contact center and CRM software featuring an AI system for automatic calling, specialized in detecting voice fakes, and uniquely offering a quality control system for calls.
  15. Smart Thermal Energy Packed Storage (STEPS) —system for efficient energy management and minimization of negative environmental impact.

Innovation Services support programme provides innovative tech SMEs, startups, and scale-ups with an opportunity to cover costs of the service  necessary to:

  • Develop a comprehensive business model that serves as a roadmap.
  • Create a dynamic business plan.
  • Design a growth strategy that sets clear goals and milestones.

These are the main areas of support:

▪️ Business Consultancy Services: assistance in refining and evolving business model, business plan, and/or growth strategy.

▪️ IPR and patent analysis: expert services in intellectual property rights and patent strategy, helping businesses protect and leverage their innovations.

▪️ Market analysis/validation: deep dives into market trends, customer needs, and validation studies to ensure market fit and readiness.

▪️ Internationalisation services (including participation in conferences, fairs and missions): support in expanding business operations to new European markets, and regulatory compliance.

▪️ Portfolio management services and relations with investors: support in clear financial reporting, and efficient investor communication.

▪️ Planning and digital tools for (equity) crowdfunding campaigns: guidance on integrating digital technologies into fundraising.
