Keni Kariuki

Keni is a dynamic international lawyer with a robust background in law, political economy, project management, and agriculture, leveraging 9+ years of managerial supervisory experience and 15+ years of extensive research expertise to drive impactful support for policy and governance initiatives within the African regulatory space.
Keni has worked in numerous teams and assisted in coordinating the delivery of successful programs as the Co-founder of Impact Hub Nairobi and Director for Scio Kenya. He is an experienced project manager and political economist with specific expertise on law, governance, social entrepreneurship, and policy. He underpins his theoretical approach, that gauges the centrality of rents and political settlement theory in understanding power. Moreover, he has in-depth experience in international law with an emphasis on political economy and agriculture. His PhD was on ‘The political economy of the Kenyan agricultural sector in an era of decentralization’ which he completed at SOAS University, London.
