Key advice for application: how not to miss your chance to receive funding
Today we would like to share with you information about Seeds of Bravery programs and non-financial activities that can be a powerful tool for your professional growth!
Whether you are managing a tech startup, a small or medium-sized enterprise, or a woman entrepreneur, our program offers a variety of support options to meet your specific needs. From financial assistance to mentoring and networking, we have created a comprehensive approach to help you overcome challenges and reach new heights in your industry. Our recommendations will be useful to anyone who intends to join the programs.
Types of financial support for Seeds of Bravery project include:
Innovation Services: tech startups and SMEs will receive up to €10,000 to improve their business models and growth strategies. In addition, the program will provide an opportunity to connect with a wide network of investors, accelerators, and peers at international technology conferences.
Entrepreneurship: focusing on business sustainability and the promotion of women-led companies, this support line offers grants of up to €25,000. Participants will also have access to a 2-week online Market Fast Track program and specialized coaching for women entrepreneurs.
Deep Tech Incubation: up to €25,000 for early-stage startups engaged in pre-MVP activities. The program will also provide access to an expanded technology community, a specialized Deep Tech Incubator and Market Fast Track.
Rebuilding Ukraine: up to €25,000 for tech SMEs that will quickly rebuild post-war Ukraine. In addition to grants, participants will have access to Digital and Deep Tech Boosters, Market Fast Track and Finance Booster, Deep Tech Accelerator, Funding Lab, and matchmaking services.
Deep Tech Scale-Up & Acceleration: up to €50,000 for companies looking to scale prototypes and expand market reach. The beneficiaries will also receive free access to coworking spaces and prominent tech events, as well as various labs and programs (Market and Legal Lab, Deep Tech Accelerator, Finance Booster, Funding Lab, Digital and Deep Tech Booster, and specialized training for women entrepreneurs).
Moreover, you can apply for non-financial activities, which include:
- Matchmaking activities;
- Access to the investor/accelerator community
- UA Tech Tickets;
- Digital and Deep Tech Booster, Funding Lab;
- Market and Legal Lab;
- Women’s entrepreneurship and leadership programme;
- Finance Booster;
- Deep Tech Accelerator.

Cost estimate:
✔️ Be sure to include a budget that includes one of the 6 services offered (Business Consulting, IPR and Patent Analysis, Market Analysis/Validation, Internationalization Services, Portfolio and Investor Relations, or Crowdfunding Campaign Planning and Digital Tools);
✔️ Include procurement costs in the budget;
✔️ Do not include the cost of equipment/components, etc;
✔️ Make sure that the cost item for services corresponds to the price specified in the Proposal.
Offer
The offer is a mandatory requirement for receiving the grant, so we recommend choosing a service provider carefully. When requesting an offer from potential providers, please consider the following:
✔️ The offer should clearly correspond to the services provided under the grant;
✔️ The cost of services must be clearly stated and coincide with the amount specified in the Cost Estimate;
✔️The offer must be official: if it is a document, it must contain the signature and seal of the service provider, if it is a presentation, it must contain the date, contacts and e-mail address of the service provider;

Check the TRL level against the criteria of the program you are applying for
Make sure your project has an innovative component
Make sure that your project is focused on civilian use and does not involve direct military use
Make sure you mention all team members and their positions in the application

We remind all applicants that it is possible to apply for this type of support more than once, as long as the grant amount does not exceed €60 000.
